Trump is banking on mail delays to help rig the election.

Here's something that could make this worse.

Many states don't accept mail ballots that arrive after election day.

This includes *all* swing states except NC.

I talked to experts. This is bad:

Democrats are litigating in all the swing states, hoping to get mail ballots counted if they arrive after election day.

But even if Dems win those cases, that will give Trump another way to stoke paranoia and violent civil conflict:

William Barr's opening testimony today is saturated with evasion and dishonesty. It unwittingly reveals Trump's vision of "law and order": The law is there to protect Trump's corruption and manufacture authoritarian agitprop for his reelection. New piece:

It deserves more attention that Bill Barr, the nation's chief law enforcement officer, is claiming the *entire* Russia story is "bogus."
