#OPJindal - "Where others saw walls , he saw doors"
Om Prakash (O.P) Jindal is the founder of Jindal Group. He was born on August 7, 1930, in Haryana.
Drawn by machines at an early age, he assisted automobile repairing shops and volunteered to assist in repairing them. It always fascinated him to understand the working mechanism of machines. #jindal
1952 : Jindal started a small bucket manufacturing plant in Hisar,Haryana.
At that time even the ordinary pipes used in India were imported from England with “Made in England” tag on them.
He use to take scrap/rejected pipes from them and then convert them into new ones. But when that Co. came to know about it instead of giving big pipes they started giving 2ft small pipes to Jindals.
Instead of taking any tension he started making sockets. So now he use to attach those pipes with sockets.
But when that Co. came to knw about it, they now stopped the business with Jindals.
And that was the turning point for Jindals because now Mr.OP Jindal decided to produce the steel pipes in India itself and make India self reliant.
Unlike most of the entrepreneurs who only looked after the financial matters of his factories, he would actively involve in the technical discussions.
He kept on striving for the latest technology. He travelled extensively throughout the world in order to make sure that his industries don’t lag behind in technical innovations.
O.P Jindal is responsible to bring new technological innovation in the Indian Steel Industry. #JINDALSTEL@MPNaveenJindal
Wishing the courageous man a very happy 90th birthday.

@amerix@FitFounder 1/16 I tried deep-diving into some of the learnings from @JamesClear . In such simple words Atomic Habits gives such a great framework as to how to go about in life.
Sharing some of those learnings for common benefits.

@amerix@FitFounder@JamesClear 2/16 Whatever habits are normal in your culture are among the most attractive behaviors you will find.
@amerix@FitFounder@JamesClear 3/16 For this exercise, first action item is to write down your desired identity. Only if you are aware of who you WANT TO BE, would you be able to decide the best in the world around you.

Nothing's better if you are passionate about something. But there is nothing to worry at all if you are yet to find out what you are passionate about.
A Thread on "Finding Flow in Everything you Do" from Ikigai

Enjoying whatever you do in life is not a factor of finding that special something alone but its a way of life where you celebrate whatever you do.

Flow is a state in which people are so involved in an activity that nothing else seems to matter; the experience itself is so enjoyable that people will do it even at great cost, for the sheer sake of doing it.
(1/11) You may think that you are great at delegating things.
You could also think that your subordinates don't inspire confidence in you.
But believe me Tim's clarity on Delegation makes using it a no brainer.
A Thread:
(2/11) Why Delegate?
Your Goal should be to free your time to focus on bigger and better things. If you are spending your time on chores and errands that could be spent better elsewhere, only you are responsible for sorting it out.
(3/11) What & When to Delegate :
1. When you are clear about your tasks : Refine your rules and processes before adding people. Using people to leverage a refined process multiplies production; using people as a solution to a poor process multiplies problems.
Times have changed, there is excess of data everywhere. Data is being overly monetised. Authors and other content creators are generating lot of revenue, hence information available for consumption is increasing multifold everyday.
This demands a new skillset of being able to find the right dose of information that is important for you.
