This shot clearly depicts something that happened throughout the city - the initial blast overpressure shattering storefronts, a negative phase pulling the glass out of the structure onto the street and then several reflected shocks moving thru the dense urban areas.💔🇱🇧
HD video of the warehouse exploding in #Beruit. Fires involving energetic materials can transition to much more destructive reactions - 2 destinct events are notable,
(1) a smaller, but powerful detonation which causes a blinding flash followed by (2) a massive explosion-produced fireball that emerges out of the wharehouse 
A focusing distortion is then visible as the smaller detonation shock ‘taps’ the camera. This is followed by the city being enveloped in a massive overpressure shock front from the rapid decomposition of the AN. Finally the camera is displaced by the 2nd massive shock front.
AN can react explosively under 2 basic conditions - heat & confinement or when subject to a detonation shock. This video clearly shows the smaller initiating detonation (bright flash) that caused the massive AN decomposition explosion.
The initiating detonation and subsequent AN decomposition are evident here as the bride turns & the glass begins to vibrate from the arrival of the smaller, higher velocity shock front ahead of the massive AN explosion. #Beruit

The pyrotechnic explosions intensify in the north end of the warehouse just prior to the catrophic explosion. Again, the video sound picks up an initial smaller event (start of rumble) ~2 sec. prior to the arrival of the massive shock front. #Beruit
