Here's why #SportingKC having 2,500 fans attend a game in 15 days is a bad idea, and why saying "it's what the fans wanted" is an insufficient justification for doing so:
Americans have proven, at every step of this 5-month pandemic, they are unwilling to make a smart decision to help themselves/others.

You say "it's their choice, you can choose not to go," but a pandemic is not about one person or me or you, it's about how it connects ALL of us.
If 2,500 go see #SportingKC, will all 2,500 self-quarantine for 14 days after attending a mass gathering? No.

When they go to work the next day, every person they come into contact with is directly touched by that mass event. THEY don't get the choice.

That's how a virus works.
"Take precautions to save others" didn't work.

"Take precautions to save yourself" didn't work.

That's why it's so damn disappointing for #SportingKC to go against every piece of credible advice from the medical community.

No one else will do what's right, why should they?
