Another point needs to be made - In many states, it was legal to marry at 14yo.

In Utah, the trick for girls was to make it to 18 w/o being forced to marry an uncle, and take the next bus to Vegas.

Better being a Vegas stripper than to be forced to marry your dad's brother.

I don't want to defend pedophiles, but I think it needs to be said that different places have different cultures. In France, if there's a Statutory Rape law, they seldom enforce it.

Many famous fashion models had sex w/ old men. Disgusting to us, but the French kinda just shrug.

Hollywood is like a luxurious palace with no front door. Raw talent/good looks won't get you in, you have to know someone who will let you in the side door.
