I'll be honest.

I'm angry.

Angry at how vapid and shallow this culture is, how 160,000+ can die and people are still mad over college football and having to wear masks inside a Fuddruckers or TGIFridays.

We deserve better. So, so much better.

Let people know you’re angry. Angry with useless debates about football and masks. Let them know we could beat this pandemic, save lives, help our neighbors and families, and that we deserve something decent and human and fair.

Stop settling for scraps and this putrid nonsense.

We don't have to settle for a corrupt fraud as president, a man who looks at a generational pandemic killing Americans and leaving them on the brink of financial collapse and sees a personal inconvenience.

We don't have to live in a country defined by cruelty and white paranoia.

If Trump and Pence and Jim Jordan want football so bad, they can walk their asses onto the field and take their lives into their own hands.

This is an absurd debate. An absolute fraud of a conversation to distract from the fact that this country is failing by the day.

This moment that we're in a self-inflicted madness. We have been lied to an manipulated for generations now, our discourse and society infected with poisonous, white supremacist paranoia.

We're on the verge of collapse, but we can avoid it and make something real and human.
