Just wrapped up watching #GunjanSaxenaTheKargilGirl. Having been there, dun that
I must say, despite all the inaccuracies in the name of 'artistic liberties', for which the objectns of IAF is well justified, it was a movie whose time hd come.....
It certainly has given a platform for discussion and debate about mindsets regarding women not only in the military but every challenging and male dominated profession.
In my experience, I could categorise three kinds of mindsets -
1. Over protective - Those colleagues who treated us with kid gloves, appearing well meaning, yet not giving the opportunity to perform to the best of our ability. Most difficult to deal with!
2. The nasty browbeaters who were out right nasty but not the way shown. The decorum

3. The brothers in arms who truly helped groom, mentor n bld confidence
All 3 categories were present in almost every situation. But it was the best time
#JhanviKapoor had done a commendable job trying to get into the skin of the character. But the take away is #PankajTripathi's character portrayal. Kudos.
And need to say this, @IAF_MCC took a great deal of effort in bringing the necessary change to accommodate women. Maybe the hostility portrayed was carried a bit too far. And no we didn't face issues about changing rooms and toilets, atleast not at the posting base. IAF was well
