1. Secretary of State (nass.org) and ask how they'll address mail delays.
2. Same goes for your local county registrar of voters. Will they offer more drop-off locations?
Ballots are picked up by county officials, so you don't have to worry about it going through the mail.
Can your registrar increase the # to compensate?
E.g. Can they allocate additional funding to ensure that drop-off boxes can be added to neighborhoods that will be disproportionately impacted by mail delays?
Basically, we need to move up our voting timelines, and how we think of voting.
But if we've learned anything in the last four years, it's contingency plans. We need to start thinking of how to vote NOW, including planning out our schedules earlier than usual.
