@norfolkcc say Wensum link will cost £152m

However,costs always spiral:
-Construction inflation
-700m viaduct
-Very complex roundabout with A47

Costs spiralled with the NDR: final costs still unknown

That means Norfolk foots the bill for remaining £170m

So they have said that they will have to borrow their contribution over 50 years at 2%

2% interest for 50 years is a formula to DOUBLE YOUR DEBT (that’s your debt as a #Norfolk council tax payer

So 2% of £170m for 50 years is also £170m

So debt and cost to #Norfolk is now £340m

That works out at £6.8m a year in loan servicing every year for 50 years

Paid for by YOU the Council Tax payer if you live in #Norfolk
