Last night, I casually suggested a workaround if Trump's plan to eviscerate the USPS continues to work as it has. It was just a half-baked idea for a private sector alternative. Since then 270K people have commented on it. Most favorably. Some in vigorous opposition to the idea.
So tonight, let me follow up with this: If you want to save the USPS, don't count on the gov't to do it for you. Don't count on this admin or the Senate or the courts to do the right thing. Find other ways to get ballots in and counted. Do what it takes to win.
It'll be different state to state. Find solutions that work locally. Get involved. Realize the other side has massive power and no scruples. Stay within the law. But spare no effort, pull no punches. Don't like other people's ideas, come up with your own.
