SSCI additional views:
GOP: "After >3 years of investigation by this Committee, we can now say with no doubt, there was no collusion."
Dems: "The Committee's bipartisan report unambiguously shows that members of Trump Campaign cooperated w/ Russian efforts to get Trump elected."
More starkly from the Dem additional views:
"This is what collusion looks like."
Bipartisan portion of the report says the Intelligence Committee had trouble getting to the bottom of what Carter Page did while in Russia during Trump campaign.
Bipartisan portion of the report says the FBI was justified in launching a counterintelligence investigation into Page given his ties to Russian intelligence, notwithstanding the problems with the FISA applications
Bipartisan portion of the report reiterates/endorses the standard origin story for the basis for opening the "Crossfire Hurricane" counterintelligence investigation
Bipartisan portion of the report criticizes Mueller team for losing sight of the counterintelligence aspect of the investigation and focusing too narrowly on whether there were prosecutable crimes.
Bipartisan portion of the report endorses the debunking of the Trumpworld conspiracy theory that DNC hid its hacked server from FBI cyberinvestigators
Report says committee had trouble getting to the bottom of information related to Steele dossier. Mueller's team didn't try to corroborate or debunk it; FBI wouldn't answer questions about Steele; and Steele wouldn't be interviewed tho did provide some written answers.
On top of portraying the Steele dossier as garbage as an intel analysis product (i.e. making clear whether sources were in position to know things, how many degrees of separation etc) & potentially subject to infection by Russian disinfo, the report notes it had a huge omission:
Those are highlights from portions I was reading. I see others have spotted that the bipartisan portion of the report basically accuses Trump of perjury in his written answers to Mueller, though they diplomatically leave open the possibility that he just misremembered.
But biggest news is bipartisan SSCI accusing Kilimnik, whom Manafort fed internal Trump campaign polling & strategy info, of a) definitely being a Russian intel officer & b) maybe being linked to the hack-and-dump operation specifically. Redactions on basis for these accusations.
This bit from report's discussion of internal deliberations about the Steele dossier seems incompatible with the theory that the Brennan-era CIA was trying to make the FBI think there was a 'there' there on Trump and Russia
