Brian Aldiss was born today in 1925. Let's take a look back at some of his books... #tuesdaymood Image
Report On Probability A, by Brian Aldiss. Lancer Books, 1970. Cover by Harry Steele Savage.

This is a very challenging read, but stick with it... Image
Hothouse, by Brian Aldiss. Four Square, 1964. Cover artist uncredited, but what a cover! Image
Earthworks, by Brian Aldiss. Four Square, 1967. Cover by Karel Thole. A fine dystopian novel! Image
Hell’s Cartographers, edited by Brian Aldiss and Harry Harrison. Orbit Books, 1976.

Aldiss and Harrison had a long standing friendship and any anthology they edit is well worth reading. Image
Barefoot In The Head, by Brian Aldiss. Ace Books, 1972. Cover by Leo and Diane Dillon. Still one of my favourite psychedelic novels! Image
Bow Down To Null (aka The Interpreter) by Brian Aldiss. Ace Doubles, 1960. Cover by Ed Emshwiller.

Don't let the cover put you off, this is a good one... Image
The Dark Light Years by Brian Aldiss. New English Library 1975. Cover artist Bruce Pennington. A powerful, satirical and fun first contact novel. Image
The Airs Of Earth, by Brian Aldiss. New English Library, 1975. Cover by Bruce Pennington.

A great short story collection: new Aldiss readers start here... Image
