Marjorie Taylor Greene visited the Capitol in 2019 and falsely claimed that Reps. Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib are illegitimate House members because they swore in on the Quran. She also unsuccessfully tried to get them to retake their oaths on the Bible. mediamatters.org/congress/marjo…

Greene also said that she wanted to tell Reps. Omar and Tlaib that they "really should go back to the Middle East if they support Sharia." In addition to her remark being bigoted, it's also ignorant: Omar was born in Somalia while Tlaib was born in Michigan.

GOP-backed QAnon House candidate Marjorie Taylor Greene is also a 9/11 conspiracy theorist.

In previously unreported remarks, Greene claimed that "it's odd there's never any evidence shown for a plane in the Pentagon." (In reality, there is evidence.) mediamatters.org/congress/qanon…
Greene also falsely claimed that former President Barack Obama "is a Muslim. And yes, [former senior White House adviser] Valerie Jarrett is, too." She went on to accuse Obama of supposedly having "opened up our borders to an invasion by Muslims."
