Earlier this morning, my campaign was on the receiving end of a vitriolic attack from the Phoenix Law Enforcement Association (PLEA).
This is the same group that stated in their endorsement of my opponent, “We envision a relationship with Ms. Adel every bit as excellent as that we have enjoyed with her predecessor, Bill Montogomery.”
However, the Maricopa County Attorney is elected by the people, not associations that have a long, storied history of enabling inappropriate behavior and misconduct.

At the end of the day, demanding accountability from law enforcement isn’t controversial -- it’s good governance.
