A recent secret Note File of the Supreme Court collegium in F.No. K-13026/04/2019/U.S.I says, the appointment of the following advocates were rejected by the Collegium. (1) Kalyanchand G Jhabakh, (2) Shri. L.Damodharan, (3) Shri. Devendran Munusamy, 1/n
and (4) Shri. Syed Mustafa Rasheed.
After taking into consideration of the “materials placed in record, observations made by the Department of Justice, as well as the complaints received against the recommendees” the Collegium decided “not suitable 2/n

Interestingly, all the above four names were recommended by former CJ of Madras HC Tahil Ramani, who was forced to resign under mysterious circumstances.
