I don't understand why people always choose purans which written till 1900s also out of thousands of different scriptures . Now i get it , because those are the only ones which serve your propaganda, Brits polluted them and you guys are spreading that pollution.😆

But unfortunately in the heirachy of scriptures puranas occupy the least position. Hence if we find explanation of shiva lingam in scriptures of higher prominace than Purana , then that explanation will be considered prominent. (2)
