To everyone who works in the White House—and I mean everyone—do you not feel a tinge of shame at absurd responses like this? What is it that you are all afraid of?
Do lies like these make you even wince in the slightest when no one’s looking? Do you think you can wash your hands of these falsehoods because someone else in the building uttered them, even though you silently acquiesce in them?
Do you ever step back from thinking of yourselves and your sinecures for even a moment to consider how dangerous and damaging it is to have a man this deranged in the presidency?
Does it bother you even in the slightest, when no one is around, that he’s tearing—ripping, clawing—at the trust that serves as the fabric of our Republic? And that he’s doing it, with brazen lies, as the president of the United States, once a beacon of democratic ideals?
