(1) Thread to our Followers: As many of you who have followed us know, making the film #UNFIT was a 2 1/2 year odyssey. We followed the news cycle from caravan to early scandals, Mueller, Trump gaffes, Barr, Impeachment, all the way through to the pandemic.
(2) When we finally locked picture, we secured a theatrical release (yay!). But days later, all theaters closed from Covid (bummer!). We had to retool, find digital distribution that would get us a large potential audience. We had talks with premium networks. Not large enough.
(3) We are VERY pleased to announce that #UNFIT will be on virtually every Cable Platform (Comcast, Spectrum, etc.), every Satellite Platform (DirecTV, DISH, etc.) and some highly visible streaming platforms (Prime Video, Apple TV, Google Play, etc.) beginning Sep 1 2020.
(4) Friends - this was a highly independent journey. We had to stay independent to make a film that put science over politics, truth over partisanship. We could not have made it this way without the support we got, including from Twitter.
(5) Trump is a menace, a malignant narcissist, and a maniac. We think the film is important. Trump is bummed we made this film. We cleared every clip so he could do nothing to stop it. We need your help in spreading the word. We are happy to share graphics, write copy, etc.
(6) We need to get a large audience to watch on or after Sep 1, 2020. We believe that if a large enough audience watches, it will reach moderates from the right, and then - he cannot win. HIS PATHOLOGY is the UNSPOKEN DANGER. We need to get it spoken about. With help, we will.
(7) A very BIG thank you for everyone on Twitter that followed, retweeted, supported, and commented. There is strength in our numbers, film is a most powerful medium, and lots of people are questioning their allegiance to him. Thank you again (to all non-bots) out in Twitterland!
(8) PS - We just relaunched our website at wwwunfitfilm.com, and it will soon have answers to any questions anyone could have. It already has the trailer, a few clips, and a lot more about the film.
