Friends, I’m headed to the Red Pill Roadshow, a QAnon event borne from last year's Great Awakening in Washington D.C. Let's go! #QanonOnIce
The event will be held at the Jacksonville Ice & Sportsplex. Why Jacksonville? The Republican National Convention was supposed to be here this week. Why the ice rink? No idea, but I'm guessing the price was right. #QAnonOnIce
Check out #QAnonOnIce for my coverage of tonight's event. Then tomorrow read my piece about it at @dailydot. Anyone you want me to talk to? Schwag you want me to scope out? Lemme know!
Tix cost $25/person. From the description: "We're going to rock out and have your favorite social media influencers and citizen journalists on stage to celebrate President Donald Trump's nomination and eventual defeat of the deep state!" #QAnonOnIce
Speakers are to include Joe Flynn (Michael Flynn's brother), Gene Ho (official photog for '16 Trump campaign), Joel Patrick ("the legendary Black redneck"), Christy McLaughlin (former Congressional candidate), Isabella Rodriguez (Red Pill Babe on Insta), and many more #QAnonOnIce
Red Pill Roadshow claims that last year "we experienced how the fake media and big tech worked hand-in-hand in attempting to silence our opposing political views." Read this excellent thread about the Great Awakening from whence the Roadshow was born
Website footnote: "Morpheus: What you know you can’t explain, but you feel it. You’ve felt it your entire life, that there’s something wrong with the world. You don’t know what it is, but it’s there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad." More: redpillroadshow.com
Website also selling something called a Magic Q Ball, marketed as "the secret weapon to expose the cabal!" "This contraption of mystical powers provides the Q answers to all of your questions. With 20 possible responses, no swamp creature secrets are safe any longer." #QAnonOnIce
Tonight's event is supposed to go from 4 p.m. until midnight. EIGHT hours of QAnon. But wait! There's more. Tomorrow there's Q Con LIVE qcon.live/q-con-live-jac…
Look closely and you'll notice that the prediction is: "If I say you might get suicided."
Here we are
No ice sadly but right away I spotted Gene Ho #QAnonOnIce
About 100 people here so far, mostly keeping to themselves
Stephen Bear (?sp?) with the intro. Says election is "pedophiles v. patriots," talks about people raping and eating babies. Claims he's gonna talk to Dog the Bounty Hunter about bringing them to justice.
Sign says masks required. Vast majority aren't wearing them. Social distancing also not happening
WiFi is terrible. But here's a band, so we've got that going for us #QAnonOnIce
Andy Ngô is finding out about the Streisand effect after filing multiple DMCA takedowns against people who posted a photo of him with far-right graffiti dailydot.com/debug/andy-ngo…
Twitter is having a honking good time photoshopping the pic of Ngo next to the name of a Polish fascist group
EXCLUSIVE: The man behind QAlerts, a Q drop aggregator that brought the conspiracy theory to the masses, is an app developer in St. Augustine, Fla. He also was a director of the Florida Oath Keepers. My latest for @dailydotdailydot.com/debug/qalerts-…
QAlerts was one of the earlier apps to aggregate the word jumble garbage of Q drops that built a global following of conspiracists, who were an immense force at the Capitol riot. QAlerts launched months after the first Q drop. dailydot.com/debug/qalerts-…
St. Augustine app developer Kenneth Rucker was a director with the Florida Oath Keepers when he built QAlerts. The app was downloaded tens of thousands of times. The website, qalerts(dot)app, was pulling in millions of monthly hits as of late late year dailydot.com/debug/qalerts-…
The 13-year-old son of a woman I went to high school with killed himself this week. My heart breaks for their family. I'm told he was being bullied online. Before you troll, recall that there's a human being on the receiving end of the vitriol. Teach this to your kids.
Our hometown is incredibly small, just 500 people, and a 30 minute drive from the nearest town. People assume that bullying isn't as serious in small towns, which are seen as idyllic. I know from personal experience that this isn't the case. I was bullied there. Viciously.
When I was growing up, the bullying stopped when we got off the school bus. Now it follows you home. It's constant--evenings, holidays, weekends, birthdays--not one minute free. I shudder to think of what that would've been like.
