1/ There are no "right" apps to use for note-taking or task management. But sometimes it's helpful to see what other people are using.

With that, here's a quick thread on My Productivity Stack: The apps I use to build my second brain
2/ Notion - My life OS

Everything in Notion revolves around my Dashboard. I use it as a jumping-off point to access my life silos for ideas, content trackers, and other basic organization.
3/ Obsidian - Live notes, thoughts, and ideas

Obsidian is most like my "second brain". I use it to take notes on articles, research topics or ideas I'm curious about, and practice the bullet journaling method throughout the day.
4/ Evernote - Set it & forget it

Evernote is my filing cabinet. It holds important receipts, bills, and documents that I want to get out of my office, but don't want to throw away completely.

You never know when you'll need that tax return.
5/ Things 3 (@culturedcode) - Task manager

Things 3 is basically wizardry. I use the quick capture tool at least 15x/day and the ability to create projects and areas within the app is genius.
6/ IOS Reminders - Quick capture (On the go)

Although it's not a great app, I've optimized the native IOS Reminders app to use as a quick capture tool when I'm out and about.

Because Siri can add stuff to my reminders, I never lose ideas that come to my head when I'm driving.
7/ Personal plug
