Now, my investigation for @meforum has found that Muslim Aid India is at the center of a network operating between Hyderabad and Birmingham, England, that serves to advance the financial and ideological interests of notorious wanted terror preacher, Zakir Naik. /3
Muslim Aid is not the only Jamaati charity operating across India. Helping Hand for Relief and Development (@HelpingHandUSA) operates on both sides of the LoC in Kashmir. Yet in 2018, I caught them openly working with Laskhar-e-Taiba, the group behind the 2008 Mumbai attacks. /4
Over the past few years, Indian law enforcement and government has shown great resolve in tackling the threat posed by terror groups such as Hizb ul-Mujahideen, Jaish-e-Mohammad, and pernicious 'non-violent' groups such as Jamaat-e-Isalmi and Tablighi Jamaat, inter alia. /5
But Islamism is never local. These groups are supported by a powerful international infrastructure and network of supporters. India must avoid Europe's mistakes. Shut down these radical foreign charities now! /6
Proscribe Muslim Aid. Proscribe Helping Hand. They are the vanguards of international Islamism. They are extremists dressed as philanthropists. Shut them down!
