2) Racist joke about Bow's brothers

Watching the clip it is clearly meant as a pun and is in no way related to Bow's race/ethnicity. However, the setup could be worded a lot more constructively.

3) The use of the D-slur

The use of the d-slur is used by Eric Garneau who is the host of the panel and does not work on the TV show. He is shouting out a podcast run by some of the chat moderators, which again has nothing to do with the show.

4) Double Trouble and children
Noelle images DT as a people watcher, studying them to learn their personality/character. She says she imagined them watching Flutterina and learning her character and mannerisms.

I totally think that the panel could have handled it with more tact, but it seems pretty clear to me that most comments had nothing to do with the show or its creators, and the others were either misinterpreted or not well thought out, but not malicious in nature.

I really hope people can rationally look at these clips and form their own opinions, because I don't think there is any reason to stop loving She'ra because of today's panel.

A follow-up image from Noelle. This idea came from one of the storyboarders to have all of Bow's brothers have names rhyming with his, with their names relating to a characteristic or their profession. This does not excuse the implications but race is clearly not the premise

Thank you to everyone who has RT'd and shared this thread around! It really helps combat the misinformation and misconceptions a lot of people have had! I hope people can continue to form their own opinions based on the clips and have civil discussions on their implications!
