If you're trying to figure out why America's social cohesion fell apart, your prime suspect is the mainstream media. They've been aggressively trying to blow us to pieces and start civil wars for decades. There's no story they won't frame for maximum divisiveness.
Think about it: the mainstream media has gotten EVERY racially charged, socially explosive story wrong. All of them. It's not a coincidence. If the media was simply inept, they'd eventually get one right by accident, but they never do.
Part of the problem is the media keeps listening to activist groups that frame stories for maximum divisiveness and controversy. Why bother investigating or waiting for more facts when a duly accredited left-wing activist group is on Line 2 telling you "what really happened?"
Then there's the notorious activist mindset of the reporters themselves, their sense that their mission is to find "justice" and "save the world" instead of just reporting the facts. They look for heroic victims and oppressive, privileged villains in every story.
It's amazing to look at every story that increased divisiveness and social chaos in America, every story that led to violence in the streets, and realize how much of the truth was clear from the outset. The media just didn't bother to report it, or they downplayed it.
And of course the mainstream media serves the political interests and preferred narratives of the Democrat Party, which wanted chaos in the streets. The media delivered every single time. Agitation for social change and political gain was always the goal.
It's reached the heights of absurdity with reporters standing in front of burning buildings and telling you it's a "mostly peaceful protest." Reporters are searching social media every hour of the day for more gasoline they can throw on the fires they started.
We're now entirely dependent on citizen journalists and alternative media for information about the riots in Democrat cities. Think about that for a moment. Smartphones are the only reason we know what's happening in Portland or Kenosha.
Activist journalism was bad enough. Activists refusing to do journalism is worse. You can safely assume the mainstream media is deliberately lying to you about every socially explosive story. We would be a less divided people without their efforts. /end
