Sebuah C-17 Globemaster III dari 21st Airlift Squadron telah meninggalkan Travis Air Force Base pada 28 Agustus 2020 untuk misi berdurasi 4 hari mengirimkan 500 ventilators bantuan USAID dalam 17 palet ke Jakarta, Indonesia.

Dari 1000 ventilator bantuan USAID untuk Indonesia, 500 di antaranya disalurkan melalui kerjasama dengan DoD.

Misi sekaligus menjadi demonstrasi kesiapan mobilitas global dalam 48 jam. Bantuan diekspektasikan tiba pada 30 Agustus ini.
Penyaluran ventilator sebanyak 100 unit telah disalurkan secara simbolis pada 28 Juli lalu di Kementerian Luar Negeri RI.
