Okay, fine, let's talk about Trump's repeated claim that urban riots are happening in "Democrat-run cities."

Yes, because the vast majority of large cities have Democratic mayors. So through random chance alone, you'd see mostly Democrats dealing with the problem.
Here are the top 100 largest cities in the United States.

64 of them have Democratic mayors. Just 29 have Republican mayors. ballotpedia.org/Party_affiliat…
However, Republican-led cities do exist. And they're having exactly the same problems.

Like San Diego, where cops are trying to disperse protesters with chemical irritants. sandiegouniontribune.com/news/public-sa…
And Jacksonville, where police pepper-sprayed peaceful George Floyd protesters and rioters threw rocks and tried to set police cars on fire. news4jax.com/news/local/202…
And Ft Worth, where there was also rioting. npr.org/sections/live-…

And El Paso, where police fired tear gas and bean bags. kvia.com/news/el-paso/2…

And OKC, where rioters burned a sheriff's van and smashed windows at a museum. tulsaworld.com/news/state-and…

All Republican mayors.
The more important reality, though, is that the vast majority of these protests — in both Democratic and Republican led cities — are being conducted peacefully and without incident from either rioters or overzealous police.

Trump just wants to scare you.
That said, we aren't going to defeat Trump by debunking his lies about "Democrat-run cities" over and over.

Most of his followers live in a bubble and are not going to go into the city and see for themselves Trump is lying about crime and violence. Fear cuts deeper than facts.
Instead, @JoeBiden should go into the areas the protests are happening, and hold town halls addressing peaceful demonstrators and calling for unity.

We need to remind people they're afraid *because* of Trump's leadership failure — and that Biden has a plan for healing.
