So many young women & girls in my generation were groomed online by adult male predators & introduced to “kink” at very young ages. For some reason, no one is talking about this despite the fact that it is likely still happening, so I wanted to make this thread to talk about it.
To illustrate just how prevalent online grooming is and was, I went to Tik Tok and typed in ‘kik’, ‘Omegle’, and ‘grooming.’ Here is the first video I found. This video has over 218k likes.
Pretty disturbing, right? A 12 year old girl sending nudes to adult men over kik, a messaging app. If you look at the comments, you realize that all of these girls & young women had the same experience. ImageImageImageImage
Here’s another video of an eloquent young woman talking about grooming on Omegle, a website that still exists where users are matched with a random person to videochat with. I still remember my friends doing stripteases for adult men on Omegle at middle school sleepovers.
Here’s another video of a girl talking about being groomed in middle school by adult men who are into ddlg (a kink) on Kik and Google Plus (a messaging/video chat platform).
And here are the comments—I encourage you to read them all. These girls were groomed on Clash of Clans (a video game app), Animal Crossing, and more. One girl says she was groomed in elementary school. ImageImageImageImage
This girl says she was caught at age 13 talking on Skype with a man born in 1971 who calls himself an abusive dom. Underage girls have been and are being exposed to BDSM and kink by men over twice their age. This happened to me too.
Here are the comments. The most striking thing to me is that so many girls are just now realizing what happened to them and how traumatic it was. So many of us have been afraid to speak up about it because we are so ashamed. This is not one isolated case—this is an epidemic. ImageImageImageImage
Here’s a video of a girl talking about being called a “little whore” by a 25 year old man over Kik. She doesn’t say how old she was at the time, but in the comments she implies she was a child.
In the comments of her video, all the girls are shocked to find out they aren’t alone in having this experience.

One girl says “I used to think people doing that was normal.”

Think about that—she thought that being sexually degraded by adult men while underage was normal. ImageImageImageImage
Here’s a video of a girl realizing that she was groomed by sexual predators and hoping that the photos of her as a child aren’t somewhere on the dark web.
The comments continue the same trend.

“Honestly really glad this was such a universal experience cause I was super embarrassed/ashamed”

“I talked to a 35 year old man...”

“I was in love with a 30 year old man on Omegle”

“this ruined a good two years of my life” ImageImageImageImage
Here are some screenshots of other videos about being groomed while underage. One girl was groomed at age 9. The oldest was 14.

Pedophiles grooming little girls is such a huge issue but almost no attention is being dedicated to it. Why? ImageImageImage
As another example, I did this poll awhile back, but out of the girls who grew up with the internet, nearly 50% of them were groomed over a period of time by an adult man while underage.
As a victim of online grooming that started when I was 12, I can tell you that it has totally warped my view of relationships/sex. I know it is the same for other women and girls. A large part of an entire generation of girls has apparently been groomed & it’s still happening.
Many parents have literally no idea that this happening to their daughters. My parents never did. Kids these days are much more tech savvy than their parents are and know how to hide their messages/internet history/accounts/etc. How do we stop this?
My point in making this thread was to demonstrate just how common this problem is. This isn’t just happening to girls from broken homes. This is happening to wide swaths of girls from every demographic. The only prerequisite to being groomed by a pedophile is to be underage.
I don’t know what the solution is, but I do know that the first step in solving this crisis is raising awareness about this. I think more attention needs to be devoted to online grooming in order to save the next generation of girls from the trauma my peers and I experienced.
Btw, although the commenter I mentioned has a man in her pfp, I checked her profile and she’s a girl.
UPDATE: A friend of mine who just saw this thread went on Omegle to do a little experiment. It’s been 10 mins & here’s what she got. I encourage any adults who have trouble believing this to try it. Join a random chat & say you are a “F13” (female, age 13) or whatever age u want. ImageImageImage
UPDATE 2: Here are more. She decided to stop after the last one considering how depraved it was. Jesus Christ. This is the kind of shit we were exposed to since we were preteens. ImageImageImageImage

I recently was asked to participate in an “interview” by a teenage TRA, Amy, who helps run an Instagram page with ~20k followers. She was starting a series on her page where she interviewed people w controversial beliefs that their followers wanted to learn the “truth” about. 1/
Their followers voted for a “TERF” to be the first person interviewed and submitted questions for me to answer. I saw this as a way to dispel false notions about radical feminism, so I accepted, and I also recruited the help of @beyvibezz and @2003rapvideo. 2/
We each spent a considerable amount of time painstakingly writing out our answers to these questions in a way that we felt this mostly-teenage TRA audience would be receptive to. Amy was very respectful to us and labored over creating the graphic design for our interviews. 3/
