Starting today, I will be incorporating child neurology cases through a collaborative effort with @TheNotoriousEEG and @cookchildrens. 👏

Emory/Cook EEG Case of the Day #20 (Peds Case #1):
Hx: 4yo F with sensorineural hearing loss presents with epilepsia partialis continua in the setting of a viral respiratory infection. Her labs showed mildly elevated LFTs.

Questions:
1) What pattern is present?
2) What is the suspected diagnosis? Which AED should be avoided?
NO SPOILERS/ ANSWERS IN THE COMMENTS. Repeat offenders will be blocked!

Submit your answer: Bit.ly/EmoryEEGCase

The answer will be posted in the comments tomorrow am. @EmoryNeurology 5 points for each house that submits the correct answer! 🧠🏆 #TwEEGtorial
