WACOL was alerted of a defilement case of 3years old girl by one Mr. Ismail who hails from Kogi. Mr. Ismail is a friend of the victim's family. The incident happened on the 28th of August 2020 at Amofia Imezi, Affa in Enugu State.
Our legal team immediately reached out to the IPO and OC, JWC in charge of the case at the 9th mile, police division and in line with the instruction of the Commissioner of Police, the case will be transferred to the state CID for further investigation and onward charge to court.
Meanwhile, a medical report already confirmed that the hymen of the child was confirmed that the hymen of the child was broken.

Ultimately Mr. Ismail will face the full wrath of the law for his evil act and sheer display of cruelty on an innocent 3years old girl. We are also providing counselling support to the distraught parents.
We will further provide good medical care and psychosocial support for the victim.
