So, I tried to paint a rough ground picture of the region around the LAC on a topographical map.
IA has taken a lot of pre-emptive actions and occupied multiple peaks (accross Indian perception of LAC), surrounding the Chinese posts and tank positions, acting as a direct threat.

We have climbed up on crucial peaks like Magar hill and Gurung hill which can keep a watch on the Spanggur gap from top. Our tanks face PLA tanks and Moldo post, with the Chushul ALG & Indian posts behind them. We have also gained Black top and helmet top.
From these positions, IA troops can keep a watch on every surrounding path of the Chinese armour and posts, with eyes on the opposite side of the F-4 area of Pangong Tso. It's a chakravyuh which has surrounded their posts. There's no running away.
Their only option left, if they have to retreat is to swim back through Spanggur Tso 😈. Getting supplies & reinforcements through that lake would be tricky aswell. Now that the ball's in their court, we can only wait to see how things turn out.
P.S.: I have wrongly marked Khurnak Fort as F-8, whereas it should be just adjacent to Sirijap, on it's west.
So I have updated the map now. There were lots of mistakes in the previous one. Both Chinese and Indian claim LAC have been added along with the IB. Some new positions and places have been added aswell. Please take a look to get an idea of what's happening on ground.
