a few years ago, at the virtualization company I worked at:

customer: ever since we installed your new GPU driver, excel has been coming up with... wrong answers
me: wait what
customer: here, watch
me: how the *fuck*

bonus points to the first person to guess how that happened
background:
- this was a Windows XP driver (XPDM)
- there was no GPU compute involved
- only excel showed any kind of weirdness at all; everything else was perfect
(I’ll be good and not give feedback on guesses until someone gets it reasonably exactly or a few hours pass. >:])

Seems like it's almost time to show off my current passion project: LUNA -- a super-compact, super-powerful tool for working with USB!

The LUNA project aims to provide both an FPGA-based USB-hacking board & an nMigen-based gateware library for building USB devices and analyzers.
Over the next few months, I hope to evolve LUNA into a powerful multi-tool with:
- high-speed USB analysis
- a new, high-speed FaceDancer model that generates the necessary USB hardware on-the-fly
- a prototyping platform for new USB host and device controllers
Of course, like everything I do at @GSGlabs, the whole project is open source -- you can follow the development on GitHub!

My goal is to keep this project super-low-cost *and* fully open; right down the FPGA toolchains we use. :)

Nothing _Emily_ could say could give you the right to disclose claims about whitequark's performance.
@M_Labs_Ltd @lambdakitten @whitequark @LambdaConcept It's -really- concerning that you decided to use another person's accusations as an opportunity to lambast a (former?) employee in front of a business partner.

That does't read as something done by someone acting in good faith defense. That feels like manipulation.
@M_Labs_Ltd @lambdakitten @whitequark @LambdaConcept I have absolutely no desire for conflict with you; but I can't just ignore what increasingly seems like toxic, controlling behavior.

I very much hope that I am mistaken about you; but I find myself well beyond the point where I can assume good faith.
