2/n Ramakrishna and his team of RSS workers were from ASHOKPURAM , the famous Dalit colony, mysore which is epicentre of Dalit movement in Karnataka and has also witnessed wonderful story of social transformation

8/n Trio of Ramakrishna Venkatrmu and Srinvas prasad also faced panchayat ( village court )headed by elders of the colony for their RSS activities . When they were not ready to toe the line , their families were outcasted . Today Venkatramu heads the panchayat !
9/n “ we are learning and teaching Good things in RSS “ was Venkatramu s argument . Panchayat couldn’t understand “ why these youths are putting so much time and efforts when they are not earning a single penny “ judgement was to stop RSS.
10/n Today’s Ashokpuram jumped in joy when photo of Venkatramu equally sharing Dias with RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat (in a huge RSS rally in Bengaluru ) appeared in front pages of Prajavani .
11/n Ramakrishna not only became house hold name by his never ending social service activities but was part and parcel in the lives of 100s of youth through his carrier guidance and showing the right way of thinking
12/n prof Venkobrao who was regular visitor to RSS shakha of Ashokpuram and continuously encouraged intellectualism among swayamsevaks ,has shared his view about Ramakrishna in the book ....
