At that point I was trying to sell a series of stories about increased interest in traditional ecological knowledge to combat climate change in circumpolar countries and down the west coast of North America. No one wanted the story, so it went nowhere.
I don't talk about it as much as I do disinfo cause it is not relevant to much that I'm always on Twitter to yell about, but one of my greatest loves beyond the borderlands is Alaska and the Yukon. Climate change hit that region early, hard, and relentlessly.
Now if you were a bad person with a lot of money and power, and you had an opportunity to buy up a whole lot of power, degrade the news media, and build private armies of stochastic and trained terrorists ahead of a terrifying oncoming catastrophe while using that same money and
power to lie to the rest of the world so that the public wouldn't see it for what it was until it was too late so you would be assured a bigger piece of the pie -- would you do that?
