2. Make your architect design for building elements that you know you will be unwilling to pay the price for or cannot afford.
3. Get the cheapest contractor possible look for every chance to undercut them.

4. Never make payments on time. Grab any chance to delay payments to your contractor and give every excuse in the book. Contractor and labourer's families are used to sleeping hungry anyway. Why should your project be any different?
5. Use every shortcut you have ever heard off. Get unskilled labour, use improper concrete mixes, remove formwork before 28 days to save.
6. Compete with your neighbours to see who built the cheapest.
