Wet soap wonder.

Supposed to be an ultra thin line technique. But U can see my lines are not thin at all.

Today. My students from my basic cold process soap class dah start potong their soaps.

Class buat on Saturday morning hari tuh. Semua excited giler tuh, first time buat soap sendiri

These were taken during class.

Mak buat small group of 6 jer.

They were taught oils selection, to get a bubbly, cleansing and conditioning bar of soaps.

Taught them also about the acids after saponification yg penting utk kulit spt myristic, palmitic, oleic, linolenic. And how to get these acids to be present in the soaps.

Mak juga ajar mereka how to do masterbatching of lye water. Sbb mak jenis yg soap masa lye water dah sejuk or org putih kata, at room tempreature. So I can masterbatch my lye solution like a week ahead. Makes my soaping easy. Timbang minyak jer bila nak buat soap.

We used dried botanicals shj for starters to make the soaps. Ada cinnamon powder, bamboo charcoal powder, tumeric, clays, oatmeal dan dried leaves like neem, gelenggang, bidara to choose from.

Ni yg guna kunyit, charcoal powder dan cinnamon.

Each of them went home wt 500grams of homemade soap in a silicone toast mould.

Peserta2 juga dapat 3 ebooks on soapmaking recipes. They can experiment making their own soaps using the recipes in the book.
