Group of about 100+ are marching down 5th Ave in the ID. Sign says, “SPOG is the prob.” Another days “Bezos is a looter.” We got a modest car brigade of 9-10 on the tail, protecting group from vehicular attacks.

At least three police trucks stage on the on-ramp onto 4th as the person who plays the flute at these things kicks up a marchin tune
A group of bike cops is tailing the group, riding parallel down 3rd Ave. as photogs turn their lenses to snap photos, the cops wave.
Solidarity from Taco Bell dude
“We love postal workers,” the crowd chants, as we pass the USPS mechanic shop. (Also I may have underestimated the number of marchers. Could be 200.)

Here at SPOG HQ. Cops trailing.
The sound of country music is blaring from SPOG HQ I think. “Save a horse ride a cowboy.”
As you may have seen, at 6:21 a large group of cops bullrushed protesters outside SPOG HQ. They split the group, made arrests, deployed blast balls, pepper spray. Cops continued rushing crowds from SODO all the way now to Rainier and Dearborn.
Crowd has now been pushed into Judkins Park area.
The gas seen in this vid stung.
Police snatched shields, umbrellas, and threw blast balls as crowd moved back.
More umbrella snatching, and an officer firing rubber bullets, presumably at protesters tossing road cones.
Cops would sometimes pull an umbrella, create a snag, and then pepper spray the crowd.
Will add here the protest was peaceful until after police bulls rushed the crowd. I saw no property damage, paint, fireworks or anything until after cops rushed in. Then some threw water bottles, rocks.
This cop slapped my phone out of my hand. This was after cops paused for a moment to reorganize, creating distance between their line and the protesters. Earlier, as I walked into an area where cops had thrown blast balls, a cop grabbed me and pushed me up the street.
When I didn’t move fast enough, the same cop pushed me forward again.
This was the scene a few minutes before the last video I posted. Cops played a game of “see how close you can slide into the protester” all the way up the Ave.
The guy in this truck raised his fist in solidarity with the protesters
Sorry for the honk, but the person in this car also raised their fist in solidarity with the protesters as cops directed the crowd south and ultimately into a green space near Judkins Park, a little trail where I once saw an art installation as part of the Nepo 5K Dont Run.
