...The class is taught by three professors including Jon Meacham, who is a regular guest on MSNBC and CNN and other networks. Yet, the "design" was the Madisonian vision of shared and limited government founded on the work of figures from John Locke to Montesquieu.
...The assertion that the design was to perpetuate slavery is revisionist and wrong. Indeed, Meacham has made statements contradicting the position in the class and would have presumably failed the question.
