A short thread about an Uber driver who picked me up from the @PHMMcr exhibition tonight. [Can't get him out of my head.] 1.
There was a bit of confusion and we ended up with two extra Deaf passengers who were going in a kind of similar direction. 2.
The driver said that they weren’t allowed to pick up people without bookings, so they try and find a black cab or occasionally give the person a lift as 'a friend'. 3.

Important thread. Here's some additional thoughts. Why does the APPG on Learning Disability need to listen to any more inpatient atrocity stories?
It comes across as voyeuristic and parasitic, takes up time that should be used to plan strategic and effective action. We know. We all know.
Why is the same handful of family bods involved at these gigs and do they unintentionally become part of the stifling fabric of failure?
