Hey everyone listen up you NEED to be watching Infinity Train. This is an INCREDIBLE cartoon and it deals with some intense, cool, complex stuff and if you like Over the Garden Wall, Steven Universe, etc you’re gonna like it. In this thread I will convince you. Please read on.
First of all it’s WEIRD and TRIPPY. In season 1 the train shows up to pick up a girl named Tulip who runs away from home to go to summer camp, and then she ends up stuck on this never-ending train where EVERY CAR CONTAINS AN ENTIRELY NEW FANTASTICAL WORLD.
This show has got WHIMSY. It’s got MYSTERY. It’s got MUSIC. It’s got ANIMAL COMPANIONS including:
-The (evil?) Cat
-SO MANY CORGIS
-an embarrassing number of turtles
-a deer that can do anything
-absolutely the best gorilla to ever live
Also, season 2 is an INCREDIBLY trans and nonbinary narrative about finding, claiming, and owning your identity in the face of others trying to deny you that experience, and season 3 GOES HARD on its message about toxic white dudes claiming power via conspiracy theories.
LOOK AT THE ART. LOOK HOW PRETTY AND MYSTERIOUS AND STRANGE. JUST IN TIME FOR SPOOKY SEASON.
This show will make you laugh and probably also cry and it’s my fave and if you don’t watch it then I may never get a season 4 and I NEED A SEASON 4. If we don’t get season 4 we will never find out what’s up with Hazel and LOOK HOW CUTE SHE IS, SHE DESERVES THIS
Seriously though it’s so clear that the team behind this show worked so hard and were so thoughtful and I can’t believe Infinity Train isn’t on everyone’s radar. You can watch it on HBO or Prime or YouTube or Google Play or possibly the Cartoon Network website
PLEASE WATCH SO WE CAN SCREAM TOGETHER IN MY DMS ABOUT THIS SHOW
This is horrifying, and I’m going to thread resources below about how you can help in this situation and/or what resources you can use if you’re an affirming parent or educator in Texas right now
It's time for a new pinned tweet! If you're new here, welcome, I'm Dan! I'm a writer, storyteller, podcaster, and big queer DnD nerd with lots of cool stuff to check out that you can find in this thread!

I'm in podcasts! I play Red, a forest warlock boi, on @mformagiccast, a DnD actual play podcast set in a noir-inspired during the Magical Prohibition. I'm also the co-host of @BS4Blasphemers, where I tell wild stories from the Bible and talk about how they fit into mythology!
