Glance in a contractor Facebook group. Everybody's cracking jokes about ambushes. I don't get it. Hop on Twitter and see what caused them to start talking about it.
When literal mercenaries have lost all sympathy for deputies, there's a major public relations issue for cops .
Generally, there's always been some "profession of arms" camaraderie. Apparently, that's all gone.
For context: When those guys tried to invade Venezuela or whatever hair brained thing they were doing it was opposition contractors who kept them relatively well treated. There's a gentleman's agreement that apparently doesn't extend to cops anymore.
Actual quotes:
"They wanted to play soldier."
"Act like an occupying army, get treated like one."
"Looks like they'll be hiring." (Long running joke anytime a foreign army gets wiped)
"Great, now we'll have to hear them cry about this for a month."
Literally nothing sympathetic
Me: Surprising tone in here tonight.
Him: YouTube turns you into p-ssy.
Me: Don't confuse my curiosity with giving a f-ck.
Him 2: The tone changed when they started behaving worse than the (slur for Arab) we've been planting. They chose the game, they know the rules, play.

Inbox: "Wasn't that black dog you had before Baroness also one they wouldn't take for bomb school? How do you get them?"
No, he was taken, but I guess he flunked out of school. Friends with breeders. People hear "military dog" and most people are afraid they're mean.
Spoiler: they're not mean.
The breeders generally don't want to give them to somebody who wants a military dog, because they tend to try to "train" (abuse) them. If the dog didn't make the cut, Billlybob isn't going to change that with cinderblocks and tires.
So once the breeders find someone who isn't going to try to turn them into a working dog, they keep their number. I'm sure there's also a financial incentive for them to not give them to people who want to train as well.
Inbox: "We've waited long enough. Tell us about Baroness dodging the draft! I thought you'd tell us tonight in a long video."
Fair enough. She was bred for the military and slated to be a bomb dog. The day they came to get her, she developed a problem with (Thread)
her ear and it wouldn't stand up. They determined it would be prone to infection and limit her hearing. The original breeder called and we picked her up.
Within 48 hours, her ear was standing straight up, and it never fell again. She hasn't had an ear infection in ten years.
My personal belief is that she totally understood what was going on and was like "F Afghanistan, F sitting down by a bomb, and F you. I'm sick."
Inbox: "Please for the love of God explain why you're so calm about DOJ asking for more documents back when all the legal youtubers are screaming they should just indict him."
My patience rests on two things:
(Thread)
First, assume DOJ doesn't know what other documents Trump may have.
Second, assume DOJ believes Trump has zero loyalty to this country.
The first means that DOJ has to treat it as if there are other SCI documents in the open.
The second means they have to treat it as if he would disclose them publicly or to an adversary if he's indicted.
Inbox: "Can you please do a video on how you name your animals? They're themed right?"
Not sure that's a video but how about a thread?

Horses:
Marilyn: a well built blonde diva who doesn't get along with Jackie.
Jackie : the elegant dark haired lady who was there first and runs things.
Charlotte: a pampered well-bred friend to the diva (works for both sex and the city or princess and the frog)
Horses (cont):
Pirate: a retired polo horse who was severely injured. She has a scar around her eye. (Friends with Jackie, but that doesn't figure into the name)
Soon to arrive (I think):
Mister: I know nothing about him, but will absolutely call him Mister President.
Inbox: "About AG Twitter. Shouldn't they know how to do their jobs though? Are the complaints valid?"
Farming/ ranching can be more art than science at times. Sometimes people think their way is the only way. And sometimes people forget about regional differences. (Thread)
Saw a woman getting trashed a few months ago because she was talking about how much her horses cost to feed. People from out west were flat out calling her a liar. (It was too low)
She lives about forty minutes from me. We have pasture almost year round, so the cost to feed is way less. It's almost December. Our fields are just starting to brown.
