Yesterday evening, Sindh Wildlife Inspector Azeem, Aijaz& their team confiscated from poachers 650 'Spiny Tailed Lizards' trapped for their use in getting "Sanday Ka teil"
Immediate release remained underway since half an hr b4 sunset untill late night. They were released one 1/3
by one at safe premises of KNP.
We appeal to join fight with us against poachers& traders who kill these voiceless for getting oil from its fats.
Sindh wildlife remained busy in tracing game sport related cases during previous years.
With the inclusion of Schedule IV that is 2/2
for protection of all wildlife forms.
With the approval of new 'Sindh Wildlife Law' by worthy forum of 'Sindh Provincial Assembly' Wildlife Department #GovernmentofSindh, is commited to take every legal& other step for protection of wildlife for eco-system& future generation🙏

Recovered by our officials Mr Hasnain & Mr Naeem from illegal possession of teenager vendor boy in Karachi, (given chance on promise & production of surety bond for not doing same again). These baby Crocs have been safely released in their 'Sanctuary' where there is abundant 1/4
food i.e insects, crustaceans small fish & safe surrounds.
In #wild female croc reach sexual maturity up to 6 years (length 1.5 to 2 meters) whereas in case of male it is 10 yrs when it reaches almost 2.5m length.
Female lays 10 to 46 eggs that hatch within 55 to 70 days. 2/4
The baby Crocs hv only 10% survival rate in wild. Mothers r very aggressive care takers of babies. The attack in case of any danger to eggs or hatchlings & some time may take hatched babies in jaw to take them at safer sites. The Crocs have been victims of misunderstanding. 3/4

"Hope" had lost hope in life; being in illegal possession of gypsies initially used in 'Bear Baiting' later lost 3 legs & back bone; thus got permeant disability.
"Sindh Bear Baiting Control Rules 2015" brought a new hope in the life of "Hope" when this voiceless was 1/5
confiscated from the illegal possession from Lyari area of Karachi where gypsies brought "Hope" in circus.
"Hope"was sent to "National Bear Rehabilitation Sanctuary".
Hats off to the efforts of Mr Naeem Ashraf Raja, Director Biodiversity MoCC🇵🇰 along with management 2/5
of 'National Bear Rehab Center" designed moveable cart initially heavy weight for training & later low weight cart. Trained on heavy weight; it is easy for "Hope" now to move, eat & burn calories to stay active.
