The #1 killer of productivity

There is no final destination here
It’s a journey that never ends

Do you ever hop online & 1-2 hrs later you are wondering where the time went? Or what you gained from it, if anything?

Here’s 5 ways to help your situation 👇🏾
- 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗖𝗘𝗢

This is a boss move. Master it. Don’t give attention away so easily. Put intention behind ur attention

Creators of platforms outsmart us everyday. That’s a fact. They built it with intention to retain your attention
- 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲

Primarily resist the urge to follow everyone and their cousins. Social content as everything else is about quality not quantity. There is such a thing as digital clutter. You have to routinely declutter your space
- 𝗦𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Im the least spontaneous person I know. I’m not advocating for u to be like me but u can learn from pattern & structure. It enhances productivity. Try it. Dedicate 1 hr a day to catch up online then leave
- 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

This insatiable need to always have an opinion about everything. Muster up the strength to let that go. Sometimes being an observer is better than being a participant. You learn more, quicker
-𝗕𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹

There will always be positives & negatives. Identify the negative use of social media so you can avoid the effects. Identify the positives & lean into that.Story telling, Selling, Rolodex building
- 𝗕𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗳𝘂𝗹

Less time spent watching what others are saying/doing means more time spent actually doing.

Go somewhere, do something.
Make a move. You are not a tree.

We’re all running out of time.
That’s a fact.

Use yours wisely 🤍

Be conscious of people that applaud your mediocrity

What do I mean?

You need to be wary of friends/ family that openly accept you operating at a mediocre level

Unfiltered constructive criticism is the only opinion you need to take ur work to the next level

Let me explain ⬇️
Sometimes, in & unintentionally, those closest to you stunt ur growth. By having you believe you are doing ‘good enough’

By applauding subpar performance, & giving you the notion that you are performing at a good level

Good is fine. But why be average when u can be extraordinary?
For example

If you produce creative work and your friends always tell you it’s ‘nice’ or it’s ‘not bad’.

Recognize, that in there lies a pattern bound to become a problem. You are creating an ecosystem of ‘Yes’ men & women

You do not need ‘Yes’ men & women around you

For the youth itching to leave their parents house & quick to transition from
▫️girl to woman
▫️boy to man

We the grown kids have crossed over
This much we do know

Everything is an investment
Your time, energy, network, your body & your decisions

Here’s what we’ve found👇🏾
1) Your network is your networth

Be prepared to leave some people behind
‘But ify, we schooled together, this is my padi’... bla bla bla
Stop wasting your time
If he or she is not speaking the language of your future, leave them in your past

Association will build or tank you
2) You are not special
Yes, any beautiful face, shape or personality you think you have, I guarantee you someone else has it too.
You will need to think outside the box, to stand out.
Start with building your value then add creativity.
You must learn to earn.
