Shameless lies from Werleman and Al Jazeera, who obviously hope to incite a religious war
Here is the sickening Al Jazeera “report”: note how it claims ALL of the Temple Mount for Muslims by calling it “Al Aqsa compound”, shamelessly denying any rights to Jews at Judaism’s holiest site.…
Indeed — and as it happens, this specific theme was first used by the man who became known as “Hitler’s mufti” to incite murderous anti-Jewish violence in the 1920s

This is a truly revealing story that tells you all you need to know about Palestinian society (and kudos to the NYT for reporting on it anyway) +…
So an 11-year-old schoolboy from Gaza posted a video of himself expertly rapping the lyrics of one of his favorite artists, and he got "more than a million views and praise from famous rappers around the world." BUT +…
"The trouble came when he was asked about his message" and told a Russian news outlet:
“I would like to spread love between us and Israel ... There’s no reason for fighting and wars. We need to let this relationship become better and better.” +…

Peter Beinart quote-tweeting bona fide antisemite Mira Bar Hillel saying "We're all antisemites" is truly priceless -- so I've archived it here
(via @The_Bear_Jew18)
Here's a glimpse of Mira Bar Hillel's greatest hits…
And here's Mira Bar Hillel explaining that there's something to the antisemitic forgery The Protocols of the Elders of Zion...…

'I just got a Pulitzer for rewriting history and I'm the real victim here'
Imagine any of NHJ's colleagues made a remark that she was 'writing about the Blacks again.' Heads would be rolling at the NYT.
NHJ doesn't even seem to realize that as a Jew, Bari Weiss is also a member of a minority group -- indeed a minority group that is targeted by murderous hatred even in the US, and that has long been the most targeted group for religious hate crimes in the US.
Just try to imagine for a moment that the treatment Bari Weiss describes was meted out to a controversial Black writer like NHJ. I think the NYT would just close down in embarrassment.

"a new consensus has emerged in the press, but perhaps especially at this paper: that truth isn’t a process of collective discovery, but an orthodoxy already known to an enlightened few whose job is to inform everyone else."
"I was always taught that journalists were charged with writing the first rough draft of history. Now, history itself is one more ephemeral thing molded to fit the needs of a predetermined narrative."…
"My own forays into Wrongthink have made me the subject of constant bullying by colleagues who disagree with my views. They have called me a Nazi and a racist; I have learned to brush off comments about how I’m “writing about the Jews again.”…

I'm the first to say that Ali Abunimah has no lower limit -- but I'll admit I was stunned to see him openly siding with China, dismissing the merciless persecution of Muslims just to express his hate for the US.
I've archived this abomination here:
For context, see e.g. this thread by @MaajidNawaz on the gruesome treatment of China's Muslims
Fanatic Israel-haters like Abunimah have often all round dreadful views -- but here's Peter Beinart, praising Abunimah

Before Peter Beinart argued for the end of the world's only Jewish state in the NYT, there were other sort of distinguished thinkers and moral philosophers doing the same: like the late Libyan dictator Muammar Qaddafi fantasizing about "Isratine"...…
Now that Peter Beinart has come to the same conclusion as Qaddafi, NYT editor Max Strasser expressed the hope that even if such views might at first seem “controversial,” they will “before too long … be mainstream opinion among American Jewish liberals.”…
Former Obama administration official Ben Rhodes was also full of praise for the oh so progressive Qaddafi/Beinart guidance on "Isratine"...…
