Thread 🧵 “There are reasonable grounds to believe that conflict-related sexual violence occurred during the 7 Oct attacks in multiple locations across Gaza periphery, including rape and gang rape, in at least three locations.” - new UN report concludes:
The report comes from the office of the special representative of the Secretary General on Sexual Violence in conflict. Pramila Patten and her team conducted a two and a half week investigation in Israel. Among their other findings:
“Across the various locations of the 7 Oct attacks, the mission team found that several fully naked or partially naked bodies from the waist down were recovered- mostly women- with hands tied and shot multiple times, often in the head.”

1/ The Levada Center (an independent polling site in Russia now deemed a "foreign agent") released a new poll showing increased approval for Putin since the war began: from 69% in January to 83% in March.

3/ Everyone is doing their part. Even the elderly with very little means are donating money to help the cause. Women and children are volunteering. (for reasons of national security I will not describe in detail).
