Let me try and wrap my head around the reasoning in this.

So a place on the planet, which has a hot and dry climate and is currently in a hot and dry season, which has plastered vegetation that is basically firebombs all over, is on fire and that is the fault of a global event.
Meanwhile other places on the planet that meet the exact same conditions (minus the firebomb trees) are not on fire.
I knew that California and its people have massive egos, but I never thought that the size of the ego was in absolute polar opposite to the average IQ of the state.
So yeah, if the CO2 theory is at fault, why aren't large parts of Europe's south on fire?

Spain, Italy, Greece, they've all had massive fires in the past. Large forest fires in summer are even known to hit certain forests as far north as Austria.

Nothing is burning right now.
That discounts the CO2 theory.

That means the difference is local.

That would mean the difference is the approach in regards to land management, fire watching, fire prevention, and education of the local populace on what not to do in hot and dry conditions.
It also helps that Europe isn't plastered with blue gum Eucalyptus, one of the most fire-intensive plants.

Trees not only put a lot of fuel on the ground as they shed bark, leaves and twigs, but in intense fires, volatile compounds in foliage cause explosive burning.
For at least a century California has had massive wildfires that were usually fueled and made worse by that tree.

But now people act as if those never happened.

No, we didn't fuck up and have done little to solve it, it's the 0.0407% CO2 in the atmosphere that cause it!
CO2 not good enough?

Well, then let's blame it on 0.0001869% Methane.

And if that fails, let's scream about 0.00003311% N2O.
And, of course, the all time classic.

Orange Man!

Bad!
As someone who doesn't live on the West Coast and only watches from the outside I can only say this:

The West Coast is a gang of toddlers.

Now add how tests are done on varying levels of quality.

Friend of mine had 2 tests, both times they almost went for the brain stem.

Former co-workers of her? Different team, different location, didn't even go half in.
Next, they're counting people with anti-bodies as positive.

Which is stupid, because they're not positive. They have anti-bodies, they cannot be positive.
This thing is a clusterfuck of biblical proportions..

But we're still counting all cases.

Why?

Big number is scarier. Scary brings clicks. Clicks make money.

Same shit with the X amount of PPM and millions tons of CO2. Big number = scary = profit.
