@Hadithoftheday Pharaoh (Fir'aun) and his people.
Allah says in Qur'an:
“So We sent upon them the flood and locusts and lice and frogs and blood as distinct signs, but they were arrogant and were a criminal people.” (Quran 7:133).
@Hadithoftheday Floods, Frogs, Locusts, Lice and Blood were some of signs sent to the people of Pharaoh (Egyptians) as a punishment/trial from Allah as they were disbelievers.
These punishments affected only egyptians and Israelites didn't suffer anything.
@Hadithoftheday Everytime the pumishmemt came, Egyptians promised to Musa A.S that they would believe in the Lord of Mūsa A.S and release the children of Israel.
However when the punishment was removed they turned around and continued with their mischief.
@Hadithoftheday The Qur'an mentions locusts, lice and flies to highlight how small creatures can be powerful, especially in big numbers, and some have been sent as punishment.
@Hadithoftheday Flood :
Allah commanded Musa A.S to warn the arrogant Pharaoh of a punishment in this world for his faithlessness and his persecution of the Children of Israel.
However, Pharaoh and his people remained arrogant, so Allah caused a huge flood, which devastated the land.
@Hadithoftheday They appealed to Musa A.S,
‘O Musa A.S! Invoke for us your Lord by what He has promised you. If you [can] remove the punishment from us, we will surely believe you, and we will send with you the Children of Israel.’"[Quran: 7:134]
@Hadithoftheday Moosaa A.S, prayed to his Lord and He relieved the suffering caused by the flood. The surging water ceased and withdrew from the land, and it became cultivatable.
But when Musa A.S bade them to fulfil their promise to release the Children of Israel, they did not respond.
@Hadithoftheday Locusts:
Then Allah sent swarms of locusts which ate whatever crops they had grown.The people hurried to Musa ,asking him to invoke Allah to remove this affliction & promised they would send the Children of Israel with him this time.Locusts departed,but they didnt fulfil promise
@Hadithoftheday Lice:
Then another sign came, the sign of lice, which spread amongst the Egyptians (People of Pharaoh), carrying diseases. Their refuge to Moosa A.S, and their promise to him, was repeated. His prayer to Allah was repeated and so, too, their breach of promise, as usual.
@Hadithoftheday Frogs:
Then a sign of frogs was revealed. The land was suddenly filled with frogs. They jumped on the food of the Egyptians, shared their houses, and distressed them greatly. The Egyptians went to Musa A.S, promising him to release the Children of Israel.
@Hadithoftheday He prayed to his Lord, & Allah relieved them of the problem of the frogs,but they again broke their promise.
Blood:
Then the last sign was revealed, the sign of blood.The Nile water was changed into blood.When Musa A.S & his people drank the water, it was ordinary water for them
@Hadithoftheday However, if any disbeliever filled his cup with the water, he discovered his cup full of blood. They hurried to Musa A.S as usual, but as soon as everything returned to normal, they turned their backs on Allah.
@Hadithoftheday Allah says in Qur'an: "But when We removed the punishment from them until a term which they were to reach, then at once they broke their word."[Quran: 7:135]
@Hadithoftheday Finally, after many attempts Musa A.S set out from Egypt with the Children of Israel who obeyed him. However, pharaoh could not accept their departure without his permission. He and his soldiers followed them .
@Hadithoftheday By the time Musa A.S & the Children of Israel reached the shore, pharaoh & his soldiers had caught up with them.
Allah revealed to Musa A.S that he should strike the sea with his rod.
Thus,
It divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain.(26:63)
@Hadithoftheday The sea opened for the people whom pharaoh wanted to destroy.
Pharaoh and his army followed the children of Israel into the sea and thus were drowned and destroyed.

Anas Ibn Malik R.A had a younger brother who was called "Abu 'Umair" by nickname (kunyah).
Abu Umair had a nughayr (a kind of bird or sparrow) which he played with and it died.
When Prophet Muhammad ﷺ heard about it, he sat with Abu Umair, for a long time, consoling the boy over the death of his bird!

One of the important events that occurred in the month of Muharram was the Battle of Karbala.
This battle is one of the most memorable battles for Muslims.
Hussain (R.A) and his companions’ courage against oppression have become an example for Muslims who experience oppression to take a step toward fighting against any form of oppression.
The battle of Karbala took place on 10 Muharram 61 AH at Karbala, precisely near the Euphrates River, or the area now known as Iraq.

The 9th day of Dhul-Hijjah is the Day of Arafah. Arafah was the day on which Allah perfected His religion, completed His favours upon His beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, & approved Islam as a way of life
There is no other day like it (Arafah) in the whole year.
The Prophet ﷺ said, 'There is no day on which Allah frees people from the Fire more so than on the Day of ‘Arafah. Indeed, He draws near and then boasts of them to the angels then says, “What do these want?“' [Muslim]
It is when the religion of Islam was perfected.
Allah says in Qur'an:
Today I have perfected for you your religion and completed upon you My blessing and I have chosen for you Islam as [your] religion” (5:3)
This verse was revealed on the day of Arafah.
