Federal prosecutors presented money-laundering charges against former President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

He is accused of getting BRL 4M in kickbacks from the Odebrecht constructioin group.
Lula's former Finance Minister, Antonio Palocci, and the former president of the Lula Institute, also face charges in the same case.
Last month, a panel of three justices considered that former judge and Justice Minister Sergio Moro decision to attach the testimony of Lula’s former Finance Minister Antonio Palocci was biased and unfair.

BREAKING: Investors' rights law firms are reportedly investigating Brazilian brokerage XP Inc for allegedly misleading investors. Less than 3 months after XP’s IPO, The Winkler Group published a report raising serious questions about the accuracy of the firm's financials.

Among other things, the report say there are significant discrepancies between XP’s internal audits and financial statements provided to investors in its IPO prospectus. In addition, the report alleges that XP fired its auditor after it discovered weaknesses in internal controls.
