For every failure of the government, the multinational market is being pushed as the panacea. This article makes no mention of eggs, dairy or animal foods. Clearly their way to deliver protein will come from a lab! businessworld.in/article/Protei…
Why should rice be fortified by international micronutrient companies when egg and animal food production can be locally strengthened, which are nutritionally superior and gives employment to lakhs of Indians? downtoearth.org.in/news/food/fort…
Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation have unethical conflict of interest by promoting studies that vilify animal foods and pave the way for "lab created proteins" using GM junk ijme.in/articles/joint…
The Eat Lancet Commission comprising vegans is pushing the false narrative that India is a 'role model' for vegetarianism. Their agenda? Reduce healthy natural food consumption& bring in lab based cheap GM concoctions. Why are we not more concerned? thewire.in/food/eat-lance…

IIMB (agrahara that refuses to implement affirmative action) will decide on the 'exit strategy' for Karnataka. Why??
What's their credibility?
What do they understand of lived experience of people in Karnataka?
Look at the Kerala model-Call for a multi-stakeholder consultation.
One of their recommendations

"Till the normalcy is attained, warning signs should be put up in all public toilets to use it when it is absolutely required".

What is the definition of 'absolutely required'??
When your bladder bursts??
Another recommendation

Any place where large number of people use common toilets should be banned.

If anyone has queries on Covid19, please message. Will try to share as much info as possible.
Covid is a NEW virus, which means we have very little natural immunity to it. This is why the spread and severity of the virus is high. If we had been exposed to the virus earlier, or if it had been around for sometime, some amount of immunity would have been present (1)
Having said that, our body often has an inbuilt system to fight infections. So if 100 people are exposed to the virus, all 100 WONT get the infection. Our skin, mucosa and immune system are often the first line of defence against many infections(2)

Conclusion: Prevalence of vitamin B12 deficiency is 47% in north Indian population. This data shows that Vitamin B12 deficiency is widespread in Indian population (article is wrong about India being largely vegetarian though)
ijem.in/article.asp?is…
"Absorption — bioavailability — of B12 can vary, depending on the source. About 50% of B12 from meat and fish is absorbed into the bloodstream. However, only around 9% of B12 in eggs is bioavailable. Milk contains surprisingly little B12". @MariaXCross

"Dietary protein requirement = 100 x Protein requirement in terms of egg protein/Net Protein Utilisation (NPU) of dietary protein relative to egg. Egg protein have essential amino acids consistent with human requirement, are highly digestible & defined as a reference protein".(1)
"Habitual diets in India based on cereals and pulses have NPU of 65 compared to egg (NPU 100). Animal protein derived from milk, egg, fish, meat can upgrade nutritive quality of cereals. Women lose 15 mg of iron per period". (2)
"Iron absorption from cereal based diets is quite low due to the presence of significant amounts of tannins and phytates. Iron absorption is 5% from rice based diets, 3% from mixed cereal based diets and 2% or less from wheat and millet based diets". (3)
