What's My Business Routine? (thread)
My inner psychology nerd is fascinated by human behavior, specifically the habits and routines of high performers.

As far as my own routine?

Every Sunday, I prep my meals for the week, set out 5-6 sets of gym outfits, and then 5-6 sets of "work" clothes.
Lately, I've been forcing myself to wake up between 6-6:30am (I am not a morning person, at all).

I grab a set of gym clothes, my gym backpack (previously packed with water, a face mask, and fresh towel), a handful of almonds, and then drive to the gym to be physically
humbled by my trainer.

After my workout, I head home, kiss Silas, jump in the shower, put on my work "uniform" (Hanes white t-shirt, jeans or shorts, Nike slides), make breakfast.

By 9am, I'm at the computer updating Asana, checking my calendar & emails, writing my to do list
in my Day Designer planner, and then replying to comments on social media.

Typically, from 10am-2pm I'm on some type of call (1:1 clients, office hours for my students, guest speaking, or networking).
I'll also start tackling my to do list between these hours or play with Silas between calls if the nanny isn't here.

Around 3pm-4pm, I log back into Asana and move tasks over, schedule some things.

One final glance at the inbox and then it's time to make dinner and hang out
with Silas for a few hours. We like to take walks around the neighborhood or play Lego Jurassic World on the Switch.

Around 8pm-10pm, I try to get some study or writing time in.

I'm currently writing a book, structuring a new group coaching program, and redoing my website.
My melatonin usually kicks in around 10pm-11pm and then I pass out.

I'm very much a night owl and get an energetic burst around 11pm so I take melatonin around 7pm so I don't stay up late.

I have a goal to wake up every day around 4am-5am butttt... I haven't been committed LOL.
Routine and preparation are also super important for me because my time is limited right now & it's a priority for me to be present with my son as much as possible.

So, yeah, that's my routine and boring day-to-day!

If you like reading about people's routines, you'll
definitely want to read "Daily Rituals" by Mason Currey.

Also: If you're a freelancer, coach, or consultant & need help, structure, and strategy to scale to 6-figures, you should apply to my group coaching program, Allergic to Hourly.
