LTFRB Chairman Delgra on putting plastic barriers between passengers: 'Yan po ay nangyari po noong may suspension of public transport way back in May.
LTFRB Chairman Delgra: And it turned out that there was some benefits to it. In fact some LGUs endorsed it as well
LTFRB Chairman Delgra: Ang plastic barrier policy na nilabas natin is actually the transparent barrier between the driver and the passenger
LTFRB Chairman Delgra: As I've said, hindi po officially endorsed iyan in so far as LTFRB and DOTr are concerned.
LTFRB Chairman Delgra on reduced physical distancing: Ito po ay para sa 2 rason: (1) We need to increase (capacity of public transpo), without having to compromise public health; (2) that would increase financial viability on the part of the operators to run their service
LTFRB Chairman Delgra: Pabalik-balik na sinasabi na may kakulangan sa public transport and the way to do that is to calibrate the reduction in the social distancing requirement without compromising public health
LTFRB Chairman Delgra: The reduced capacity might compromise their viability to run the routes
LTFRB Chairman Delgra: Mayroon po tayong tinatawag na P2.6B allocation for critically impacted industries in the transport sector
LTFRB Chairman Delgra: As far as the P2.6B is concerned ang plano po rito ay para sa mga tsuper at operator lalo na hindi po nakapagbiyahe during the time of the pandemic
LTFRB Chairman Delgra: For wage, they would be given either cash subsidy or fuel subsidy
LTFRB Chairman Delgra: For the P5.58B that will be implemented under what we call service contracting program which LTFRB will be the lead implementing agency
LTFRB Chairman Delgra on provincial buses from Metro Manila: Matagal na po natin itong pinag-uusapan internally with LTFRB and DOTr in the expectation na makakabyahe na nga o mao-open na ang mga ruta coming from Metro Manila to the provinces
LTFRB Chairman Delgra: We need to coordinate with the LGUs concerned kasi sila din ang sasalo ng mga pasahero
LTFRB Chairman Delgra: During our last consultations po sa league of elected officials and board of governors marami po sa kanila ang ayaw magbukas ng border lalong-lalo na sa ruta na manggagaling sa Metro Manila
LTFRB Chairman Delgra: Out of the 81 provinces na nakuhanan po namin ng response ay 4 lang po [ang willing to open their borders]
LTFRB Chairman Delgra: They are suggesting na parang point-to-point po ang pag-byahe.
LTFRB Chairman Delgra: Iyong the usual travel requirement that is required for airline and maritime passengers may also be required sa land-based public transport
LTFRB Chairman Delgra: We are looking at the timeline na within the month, we'll be opening the provincial bus routes coming from Metro Manila or ending in Metro Manila
LTFRB Chairman Delgra: Nagbubukas na po tayo ng mga inter-provincial and interregional routes, except sa Metro Manila which we are ready to open. Inaayos lang natin, and hopefully we will be able to open it within the month
LTFRB Chairman Delgra states 3 out of 4 provinces are willing to open their borders: Antique, Quirino and Bataan.
OWWA Admin.

OWWA Admin. Cacdac: Mula noong Abril 260,000 na ang nakinabang na mga OFWs displaced due to the COVID crisis dito sa DOLE-AKAP program at ngayon ay ipagpapatuloy sa Bayanihan 2

OWWA Admin.

Pres. Spox. Roque on PRRD's public address tomorrow: Hindi ko po masisigurado pero most likely
Pres. Spox. Roque: Of course nothing will ever be enough for someone na hindi nakakita ng kahit anong mabuti sa pamahalaan pero sa ngayon po ay pinakamataas ang testing natin sa Southeast Asia.
