The cost of starting leave alone running a business in KE is ridiculously expensive for a young person who's never had a job and is thinking about running a business before getting that job.

Do whatever you gat to do to put food on your table. Depression doesn't like a happy heart. It also is allergic to a busy mind.
It doesn't have to be a huge business, it can be as simple as buying and delivering groceries for people in your estate, or cleaning, or cooking.
To have a single permit for a cleaning business in Meru for example is KES 15,000. To register the business on ECitizen is KES 1000, and with the rise in use of technology and increase in Social media users, you can do the below to start a successful business with minimum costs.
1. Register your business on ECitizen no matter how small you think it is. 2. Create a Logo and a business Page SM 3. Print at least 6 t-shirts with the name of your hustle (6 is the minimum printing guys can do) 4. Ensure you have at least something branded (T-shirt, receipts).
Every time you are transacting.
Branding goes a long way. People will take you seriously.
You might not have much when you are starting, but please, register and Brand once that money starts coming.
That is how you land tenders as well.
There are also start up funders Online, they fund an already existing registered business trynna break even.
I will do a thread on that by end of week.
I wish you the best.
Let's do this. 💪💪💪💪

Niliambiwa story ingine ilinibore sana aki. Sasa, a guy and a girl got a baby girl, then the guy moved on wakaachana. The girl kept on asking for child support, eventually the dude agreed because si mtoi ni wake? But because they broke up juu ya drama za dame, he opted to love
the baby from far. He was in another relationship but the girl wasn't. Sasa she got child support for a couple of months then insisted the guy should also play father's role to the daughter, and She's ok kumpatia mtoi over the weekends, holidays or whatever ndio wabond.
Weuh, sasa juzi venye shule zilikuwa zimefungwa mtoi alienda kwa babake na akarudi around the 8th ndio akafungue shule. Hiyo jioni the guy was summoned to a police station ati alimolest mtoi😭
Everybody has or will go through that depressing season where nothing is working... No job, no money, bad luck, bills, etc.
You ask for help but no one is able to, somehow, it totally pours... Those you think will help are not there.
Short thread.
So you reach out and all you get is motivational quotes "you will make it, do not worry" but deep down the frustration becomes bigger. You want solutions, you want money, you want a job, someone to take care of what it eating you.
That season is so brutal cos what you want will not be given to you, why, because as much as it is unfair, you have it within you to get out of that situation. It is the most important season of your life, when you overcome it, you look back and are thankful.
2018 was the worst yet the most enlightening year of my life. On March 29, I lost my job. This was then followed by a series of "bad luck" accompanied by a pity party that lasted for about 7 months before I decided to do something about it.
This thread is dedicated to 1. Those that have lost jobs, are still looking and still nothing is happening 2. Those that have graduated college and no job is in sight 3. Those that have something they love doing but are not monetizing their gift/talent.
An opportunity presented itself in 2018 October in Meru and since the last 7 months were terrible, I was so ready to just leave Kiambi and start a fresh! Have you ever been so broke that even 10 bob is a problem? I got from 100 to 0 pretty quick. Employment is scam😩
